Using this box to bridge my lan upstairs to the basement. Paired with the Dlink DIR-825 router, this thing really flies. It's more than twice as fast as the previous Wireless-G bridge I used before. Using firmware 1.10 Dlink products rock
Strengths: Appearance, Speed, Ease of use
Weakness: Range
I purchased this item to create a wireless bridge for my upstairs entertainment center. The device is priced competitively with other bridge makers brands. This devices are specialized which means to me that the manufactures are charging a premium for them. The user interface is browser based and pretty simple to configure. To configure the bridge I found it was best to connect it directly to my...
Strengths: Wireless n, Gigabit switch
Weakness: signal strength, speed.

D-Link's draft 802.11n AP / Bridge can open up the 5 GHz option to your wireless LAN for about $100. But 2.4 GHz performance leaves a lot to be desired.

Works Great - Fast
Strengths: Good reception, fast transmission.
Weakness: No way to turn off lights!
I am using this bridge in conjunction with the companion Xtreme N Wireless Router. This unit is in the media room and provides web access to an Xbox, BluRay player, Tivo HD, and TVIX media tank. It is working flawlessly, and was instantly accepted into the system when I set it up. It also connected all the devices with no problems. My only complaint is that it has multiple activity and status...
